The Employment-based Route

Employment-based routes to QTS are simply that - routes to gaining Qualified Teacher Status whilst drawing a pay cheque. The size of the pay cheque, and who's responsible for paying it, depends on which programme you follow. This also determines the overall length of training, which can vary from 3 months full time to 2 years full time.
